Day 102: Behind the corner!

Maybe I am too enthusiast with flowers in our back yard. I even have them behind the corner where I can't see them while sitting in teracce but neighbours can when walking by.

Day 88: What is this?

It was late night already and I realized photo of day not yet taken. What to do? I laid down and took photo of WHAT?

No jungle but calla.

Day 72: Nighttime!

Well - I am person who wants to try different things. One night I took my camera and tripod and photoed flowers in our back yard. None of photos really succeeded but as I have said so many times before: I am still learning!

Day 70: Colors!

 It is funny how many little things is visible for me now when looking world through camera lens. I have plenty of this flowers (Xerochrysum bracteatum) in our backyard and when looking afar each of them is with one color: red, yellow, orange. But when looking closer each of them are having several nuances.

Day 66: Something new!

I enjoy so much of our "new backyard". It really makes me happy - even some work is needed to keep it  nice. I am sad living part of my working weeks in Helsinki. I would like to be able to sit in our teracce every single day - listening birds singing and children playing, and watching all the beautiful things around me. And even there are lot of beautiful things already there is always room for something new: two small baskets with flowers this time.

Day 53: My silly man!

That's my man - asking me whether it is okay that flower to grow through the fence. Silly man - it is a climber and I would be very disappointed if it would not grow just like that.

 

Day 44: How beautiful flower can be!

I love to photograph flowers (and butterflies and birds and ... I might have mentioned this already in my previous posts) and today I was once again managed to surprise myself. I was once again learning how to use macro objective and photographed flowers of garden nasturtium. I was surprised the beauty of that flower and that is something which you don't see when looking these flowers afar.

Day 38: Welcome!

This is view from our outside door. You are most welcome to visit us - any day. Just ring the doorbell and wait until the door opens.

Day 32: What a beauty!

My goddaughter and her mother visited us and they brought us mini gerbera. It was such a beauty! And I think the photo I took is also really nice.

I think I might like to make cards with this picture. Let's see whether my postcrossing friends will be soon receiving cards like this.

Day 24: What?

I thought I took a nice photo of daisy. How little I noticed while taking that photo! When I looked that photo in laptop I noticed that I photoed daisy and some black visitors. Once again it was proved that camera see more than human eye and picture tells more than thousand word. Just try to identify all the little details in this picture and let then tell you their story.
