Cat is on the table - as you can see. I visited my cousin and as usual in her place cats are where ever they want to be. So there were we - me and cousin drinking tea and eating biscuits, and cat was just sitting there.

Day 243: Fill the gap!
I love Kakuro. It is more interesting than Sudoku. You have to calculate - for me that means that I have to use my brains. (And I am not saying that you could do Sudoku without brains.) My father having Alzheimer is reason and motivation for me to challange my brains daily basis.

Day 240: To be or not to be bored!
Look! This is my husband looking very boring. I have just arrived home after spending several days in Helsinki. Or is he like this because I play with my new toy and try all different features of that new camera. That is, not spending time with him.

Day 204: Let's play!
We, meaning me, my husband and both of my daughters and one boyfriend, visited my parents. Even Xmas was already over we ate some good Xmas food. And we also had some Xmas packages for my parents - like knitted socks I made for my father. Since my father is with Alzheimer decease he likes to challenge his brain and once again we played with him. Or my daughters and my husband did. I was busy with some "delayed" Xmas knittings.
Day 184: Sticky stuff!
I knitted socks to my father who has some problems with walking. I also bought some sticky stuff to be added on the bottom of socks so that he wouldn't be slipping while walking. Let's see how this stuff works.
BTW, the text "pappa" means grandfather.

Day 180: Don't bite me!
We visited one of my granddaughter. They have a dog - adorable little one called Lumi (meaning snow). My husband tried to play with her but look what happened - my husband got his fingers bite. Maybe Lumi thought that there are new teething ring for her.

Day 148: Visitor!
I have a visitor here in Helsinki. Me and my husband we decided to spend yet another weekend here in Helsinki. Last time it was when there was this concert of Vesa-Matti Loiri. Since I don't have TV here he spends his time reading - but actually that is what he is doing even at home. So no big difference are we in Naantali or in Helsinki. Books are everywhere!

Day 129: Finally!
My son is living in Pori and even my youngest daughter have been dating almost two years now my son and her boyfriend have never met. Until today when me, my husband, all my three children and boyfriends of my daughters were having dinner at Viikinkiravintola Harald. Afterwards we continue the evening at home playing (cards and board games), drinking and enjoying.
I am SO HAPPY that I had my whole family with me!

Day 99: What wouldn't mother do for her children?
My youngest daughter really utilizes my urgent need for doing things with my own hands. She knows that I love to knit and crochet. And she doesn't hesitate to ask me to do something. And yes - this scarf is for her.
Day 94: Age!
It is not easy to get old. The most difficult part is to see your own parents to get older and sicker. My father has been hospitalized for several weeks and since I am living part of the week in Helsinki, it is not possible for me to visit him during weeks. And even I was having flu we, that is me, my husband, my daughter and her boyfriend, drove to Loimaa and spent some time with my father.
Day 75: He's my man!
Summer vacation ended and it was Sunday. Next morning I would travel to Helsinki. I felt little stressed because vacation was over but my husband didn't take any pressure for that - he was sitting and reading - his favorite hobby.

Day 64: To shave or not to shave?
It was our fourth anniversary. As usual we went to restaurant to eat something. This year it was Uusi Kilta in Naantali. This time older daughter with her boyfriend joined us. We ate a lot and enjoyed the sunny but little bit windy weather. But one thing was bothering me: my husband had skipped shaving that morning.
Day 60: Final count down?
My youngest daughter moved to Seinäjoki almost an year ago. For some reason it has felt as temporarily thing but when we packed almost all of her staff still here in home I had this feeling: final count down. All my children are adults and are starting their own life. But still little bit of them are here in our home - the last removal van has not started yet.

Day 54: Penguin!
Me and my daughter run across Finland to visit my cousin living in Pohjois-Savo. Her boyfriend called her and asked how north we actually are. "Well, there is a penguin here."
Instead having garden gnome in her back yard my cousin has this cute penguin.

Day 31: What a nice evening!
We visited another summer theater in Paimio. It was really nice weather and play was great. After theater we went to eat and when we arrived at home we were all so full of food and culture. Weather was still great and we decided to sit for a while in our teracce and enjoy the evening. I managed to photo my husband and my daughter having discussion. Look what a view!

Day 26: Who is that man?
I am married with my second husband. We got married 08.08.2008 and many may think that we picked that date because it looks nice and it is easy to remember. Well, that could be the case but actually - there is more magic here. My husband is 8 years 8 months and 8 days older than me. Someone asked if we have calculated also hours and minutes but no. It might be that the final result is example something like 8 years 8 months 7 days 20 hours and 15 minutes and that would have very challenging to get married exact that time.
But yes - this is my husband sitting in Heinola ABC area in sunny Sunday 1.7.2012.
